As the saying goes, tragedy plus time equals … a clue on Jeopardy! Either that or someone on the show’s writing staff felt like bringing up the 2009 incident when Gilbert Arenas allegedly pulled a gun on teammate Javaris Crittenton. The clue came from a category creatively titled “Sports Jeopardy” and aired Monday night during the show’s first round.
Arenas served a 50-game suspension from the incident. In a 2012 interview with USA Today Arenas denied he ever pulled a gun out in the locker room.
