Rai Benjamin of Mount Vernon, NY won the New Balance Indoor Nationals boys 400-meter championship on Monday. Taylor McLaughlin finished ahead of Benjamin, but was disqualified for leaving his lane too early. McLaughlin also trucked one of the young women trying to hold the finish line.

As you can see in the video, she lost the tape as the runners were coming down the homestretch. She made the mistake of going after the tape, couldn’t grab it in time and backed right into McLaughlin’s path to get run the f— over. In broadcast video over at FloTrack the announcer says that she got “wham-sauced.” That is a new one.
