In any event, Reid’s radio show is now expected to debut this upcoming Monday, according to Will Hobson and Paul Farhi of the Washington Post. While they were unable to pinpoint a specific explanation for the program’s nebulous delay, they reported a really bizarre wrinkle in the narrative. Somebody impersonating ESPN President John Skipper apparently called the local station multiple times demanding for the show to be kiboshed. The impostor reportedly had a believable Southern drawl, familiarity with the station, and an 860 area code:

Barring any further twists and turns before his show’s debut, the world awaits the first time Jason Reid has unflattering things to say about the management stylings of Daniel Snyder and/or Bruce Allen on the air, and their subsequent response.
