Old Dominion Beat Murray State on Wild Buzz-Beater by Trey Freeman

Trey Freeman’s last-second shot lifted Old Dominion to a 72-69 win over Murray State in the NIT quarterfinals. It means ODU advances to the semifinal at Madison Square Garden. The NIT might be looked down upon by many perennial NCAA tournament teams, but it’s safe to say everyone at Old Dominion was exceedingly hyped up by Freeman’s shot and it produced a wild celebration in Norfolk, Va.
