Taylor Walker, a 6’3″, 220-pound Aussie Rules Football player, goes by the nickname, “Tex.” He was born in New South Wales, so I have no clue how he got that nickname, but he certainly acts like a Southern gentleman. Before an AFL game today, Walker was waiting to lead his team onto the pitch when fireworks scared the little girl who was the team’s mascot for the day. Walker comforted the girl, held her hand as she wiped away her tears and walked her out to the pitch. [FOX Sports, Getty]
