Hanley Ramirez is off to a solid start after signing a free agent contract with the Red Sox in the winter. He’s already hit four home runs (the same number of times he’s struck out) while adjusting to his new position, left field. The former shortstop’s biggest impact, literally, came in batting practice on Friday when he put a dent in the padding of the center field wall at Fenway Park. Per the Boston Globe, Ramirez stroked a liner that hit near the 379 foot sign to the right of the Green Monster.
