In a very favorable crowd at Salem State University, Tom Brady remarked that it felt like it was a Patriots pep rally. Jim Gray asked him right off the bat what his reaction was to the Ted Wells report, and he said, “I don’t really have any reaction. Our owner commented on it yesterday, it’s only been 30 hours and I haven’t had much time to digest it fully.” He said that his athletics have always been better than his academics.

Gray asked about the timetable.”Hopefully soon,” Brady said. “There’s still a process that’s going forth right now. I’m involved in that process. Whenever it happens it happens.”

When Gray asked if he thought the Super Bowl was tainted, Brady directed the response from the crowd, which produced a resounding, “NOOOOOO!”

“Neither do I,” Brady said. “Absolutely not.”

This interview will likely not do anything to change anybody’s perceptions of the Ted Wells Report.
