Robert Kraft appeared very briefly for a press conference at the owner’s meeting, to address the ongoing sniping between the league office and the New England Patriots. Kraft is not happy. He complained about the length of time that this matter has been drawn out.

He also talked about being a partner among 32 teams, though, and said that he is not going to appeal. “At no time should the agenda of one team outweigh the collective good of the full 32,” Kraft said.

“I don’t want to continue the rhetoric that has gone on the last four months. I’m going to accept, reluctantly,” he added. Mind you, Kraft said he wouldn’t appeal back when this started, and when he didn’t hear what he wanted from the league office and get his apology, things elevated to the point that his lawyer did a point-by-point rebuttal of the Wells report.

This also likely has no impact on the actual Brady appeal with the NFLPA, just that Kraft is foregoing legal action on the part of the organization to challenge the league in court in regard to the fine and draft pick sanctions. We’ll see if the rhetoric continues or not. I’m not putting the popcorn away yet.
