The New York Rangers lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning 6-5 in overtime. Judging by the Rangers fans on my Twitter timeline, it wasn’t the best night for the usually stout Henrik Lundqvist, who gave up the game-winner shortly inside of overtime to Nikita Kucherov. As is its wont, the back page of the New York Daily News managed to work in a David Letterman pun for its headline with a play on Stupid Pet Tricks.
Pretty decent and not entirely forced, unlike many other New York tabloid backpages. Maybe?
