Oklahoma Quarterback Competition Inspires Parody of 15-Year Old Green Day Song

Bob Stoops apparently has a quarterback decision to make this year. You can learn all about it in this video that combines some great animation with a parody of Green Day’s 2000 song, “Minority.”

Minority was Green Day’s first single off “Warning” in 2000. It was a #1 hit, but that was 15 years ago. Even as a Green Day fan, I’m left scratching my head about this selection, as good as it sounds. There were some brilliant creative leaps that must have been taken to get to “Oklahoma Quarterback Derby.” (The only other upload by this user is a Louie Louie parody about Buddy Hield. I can at least start to understand that.)

The worst part of all this is that the day after this song was posted on YouTube, Justice Hansen decided to transfer. Time for a rewrite!

UPDATE: Inspired by Silicon Valley. Must live in an incubator.
