David Ortiz "Ejected" the Home Plate Umpire in a Dispute

David Ortiz was ejected by umpire Bruce Dreckman in the seventh inning after flipping his bat into fair territory on a single on Saturday. MLB’s video of the entire incident is not embeddable, but you can view it here. After some histrionics back and forth, Ortiz told Dreckman he was ejected. Though Ortiz doesn’t have the authority to make this type of decision, he did get his point across loud and clear.
