Travelers Championship Tee Times: No Jordan Spieth, Jason Day, or Dustin Johnson

After the U.S. Open, Jordan Spieth, his Green Jacket, and U.S. Open Championship Trophy are taking a break. Spieth appeared on the Dan Patrick Show on Monday and told Dan that he is going on a vacation with some close friends and wasn’t bringing his clubs. I don’t blame him; he just won his second major tournament this season, who wouldn’t take a break? Spieth isn’t the only golfer who isn’t playing in the Travelers Championship this week — Aussie Jason Day, who suffered from severe vertigo symptoms during the U.S. Open, withdrew from the tournament. Dustin Johnson is also not playing this week.

That doesn’t mean that the field won’t contain some of the top pros who are looking to bounce back after their, probably not-so-fun rounds at the U.S. Open. Sergio Garcia, Keegan Bradley, Brandt Snedeker, Billy Horschel, Bubba Watson, Zach Johnson, Louis Oosthuizen, and Patrick Reed are all playing in Connecticut this week on greens that are…actually green.

Here’s some tee times to pay attention to.

Thursday front nine times:
1:05 PM – Patrick Reed, Louis Oosthuizen, Branden Grace
1:15 PM – Bubba Watson, Hunter Mahan, Zach Johnson

Thursday back nine times:
7:50 AM – Kevin Streelman, Sergio Garcia, Keegan Bradley
8:00 AM – Brandt Snedeker, Billy Horschel, Ernie Els

Keep an eye on Snedeker, who made a nice charge on Sunday, and Oosthuizen who made birdie on six of his last seven holes.
