Don't Trust That Optimistic New York Mets Diagnosis

Here’s a chart of six New York Mets players who received optimistic diagnoses this season, before spending lengthy, undetermined time on the DL. Not clear whether this is internal miscommunication, deliberate deception or poor medical treatment. But, it is clear Mike Francesa’s “Met Month” injury theory is alive and well.

Maybe if David Wright ruined a few more lunches players would stop getting hurt.
