Ray Allen took a picture with a fan recently. That fan was Kentucky coach John Calipari. Yes, the same John Calipari who coached against Ray Allen while he was at UConn twenty-freaking-years ago. Coach Cal tweeted the picture and mentioned how he would have liked to have coached Allen and Marcus Camby at the same time.

Camby, Allen, and Cal jumped to the NBA after 1996. Camby and Allen were both first team All-Americans and Calipari coached UMass to a Final Four appearance that we’re all supposed to pretend never happened.

Ray Allen’s t-shirt that features Jesus shooting a fadeaway jumper? That happened. The NCAA can never take that away from us.
