Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, and one of Roger Goodell’s 32 bosses, just went HAM at the NFL over their terrible handling the Tom Brady suspension. In May, Kraft famously decided there was no need to fight the NFL fining the Patriots and docking them draft picks; at the time, many assumed Kraft and Goodell had cut some sort of deal that would result in Tom Brady’s suspension being reduced or eliminated.

Nope. Despite having no hard evidence, the NFL upheld the suspension, largely because Tom Brady smashed his cell phone.

“I was wrong to put my faith in the league,” Kraft said today. That’s a shot across the bow of his friend, Goodell. Kraft took no questions, but the damage was done: The Patriots are going to fight this.
