Federal Judge Orders Everyone in NFL vs. Brady and the NFLPA to Cut the Crap

There has been a lot of chatter in the Brady suspension/deflated balls saga. It started with leaks on day one through Chris Mortensen, that were of dubious accuracy, and has continued with all sides posturing through the release of Roger Goodell’s appeal ruling that included early leaks about a destroyed cell phone, Brady’s Facebook post, and Robert Kraft’s comments at yesterday’s press conference.

The federal judge in New York issued an order in today’s case (after the Minnesota circuit judge sent it back after the NFLPA and Brady filed suit there), and the first line basically tells the parties to cut the crap.

“While this litigation is ongoing, it is appropriate (and helpful) for all counsel and all parties in this case to tone down their rhetoric.”

That’s basically a nicer and more legalese way of saying that they are all acting like kids.
