David Ortiz Launched a Long Solo Homer off Yankees Rookie Luis Severino

Yankees rookie Luis Severino made his highly-anticipated debut tonight in the Bronx vs. the Red Sox. David Ortiz welcomed the righty to the Majors with a L-O-N-G blast into the right-center bleachers in the fourth inning.
Before Tuesday’s series opener Ortiz was asked about Alex Rodriguez’s great 2015 season back from suspension. Said Ortiz, via the New York Post:
"“It is what it is,” Ortiz said before the Yankees blew out the Red Sox, 13-3, Tuesday night at the Stadium. “The guy is playing the right way now — as far as we know. He’s having a good season and doing the right thing. I guess that deserves credit.”"
Those comments certainly figure to be a topic of discussion in both clubhouses following the conclusion of Wednesday night’s game.
