Everton and Watford opened up their 2015-16 Premier League campaigns with a 2-2 draw at Goodison Park. The game will be remembered for these goals scored by Watford’s Odion Ighalo and Everton’s Ross Barkley seven minutes apart in the second half.

Ighalo came off the bench to make John Stones — whom Chelsea wants to sign before the transfer window closes — look foolish with a nice dribbling move at the top of the box to cut inside and drive his shot past Tim Howard. It temporarily put the newly-promoted side up 2-1.

Barkley’s goal was a first-time rocket, set up by a layoff from teammate Arouna Koné.

Koné later scored in the 86th minute to get Everton a point.
