Clemson Football Players Banned from Social Media Again

In what has become custom policy for the football team, Clemson players are not permitted to post on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram until the end of the season. Aaron Brenner of the Post and Courier interviewed several Tigers, and all of them gave politically correct answers about focus and minimizing distractions and being “here to work now.”

From Dabo Swinney’s perspective, he doesn’t have to answer any questions about dumb tweets, so there’s that. But, it’s impossible to say whether this policy affects recruiting, if only on the margins.
