Lloyd McClendon Had to Hold It for a Long Time During Hisashi Iwakuma No-Hitter
By Jason Lisk
Hisashi Iwakuma threw the first American League no-hitter and also the first for the Mariners since Felix Hernandez threw a perfect game in 2012. One person in the park was very relieved when he recorded the final out … literally. Manager Lloyd McClendon joked that he had been waiting to go to the bathroom since the 5th inning.
I just hope no one drank out of those bottles in the dugout, a la Dumb & Dumber.
