Marshall Henderson has signed with the Sacramento Kings, but does he rank as one of the craziest players that will be involved with the 2015-2016 Kings? The Kings stand to have a good deal of talent and insanity this season, both on and off the court.

If Henderson somehow ends up a rotation player after two seasons overseas, could he possibly unseat DeMarcus Cousins as the team leader in technical fouls? Or is that Rajon Rondo’s destiny? And who will be the first person to be a healthy scratch because of conduct detrimental to the team? How many of these guys will finish the season on the roster? And of those that leave, who will be traded, who will be cut and who will be fired?

For now, let’s look at the 21 people currently scheduled to be involved in the Sacramento Kings season and rank them from least to most crazy. The results may shock you.

20. Rudy Gay – In 9 seasons, Gay has averaged 18.5 points per game and had just 1 playoff appearance. He’s never been an All-Star and he’s never been in trouble. He signed a 5-year, $82 million deal in 2010 then signed the extension last year. Nothing he does is insane. He just shows up, scores some points, and heads home for the summer.

19. David Stockton – Like Rudy Gay without the experience, success, size, or excitement.

18. Ben McLemore – Quietly improved in almost every category during his second season. Choosing to go to school in Lawrence, Kansas automatically makes him slightly crazier than the previous two on this list.

12-17. James Anderson, Omri Casspi, Kosta Koufus, Duje Dukan, Arturas Gudaitis, Luka Mitrovic – Quick, tell me anything about any of these guys. Google couldn’t.

11. Vlade Divac – I never mentioned it before, but I hope you used Vlade as your voice navigation on the Waze app while he was available. It’s long drive to Serbia.

10. Willie Cauley-Stein – Changed his name from Willie Cauley-Stein to Willie Cauley-Stein. And added the middle name “Trill.”

9. Seth Curry – When your big brother is so successful, you have to be a little bit nutty. Just ask Matt Douglas.

8. Caron Butler – Spent the majority of his career running around Washington chewing straws and no one noticed. Those are the guys you have to watch out for.

7. Darren Collison – The Kings are his 5th team in 6 NBA seasons. He was once benched in favor of a 56-year old Derek Fisher. There’s something going on with this guy and I just can’t put my finger on it.

6. Quincy Acy – With a beard like that, I’d be insane not to put him high on any list. Also, he once punched John Wall on Christmas.

5b. George Karl – What is he even doing? Trying to trade one of the best big men in the game and then wearing his jersey to public speaking engagements. His time in Sacramento will not end with a parade.

5a. DeMarcus Cousins – Boogie gets a bad rap. I really think in the right situation, he’d be OK, but his resume speaks for itself and his relationship with George Karl is not off to a great start.

4. Marco Belinelli – He spent two seasons in San Antonio, winning a championship and becoming one of the premiere three-point shooters in the entire NBA. He then signed with the Sacramento Kings as a free agent. That is the definition of insanity.

3. Marshall Henderson – Might actually be insane.

2. Rajon Rondo – He could be an All-Star or out of the league by Christmas. If anyone could teach Henderson how to take crazy to the next step in the locker room, it’s Rajon Rondo.

1. Vivek Ranadive – Thought last year’s Kings would make the playoffs. He once suggested the team play defense 4-on-5. Marshall Henderson has found his home.
