Kirk Cousins is on track to start for Washington Week 1 vs. Miami on Sept. 13 according to a report from ESPN’s Dianna Marie Russini Saturday morning:

The status of Robert Griffin III is in doubt after he left last week’s preseason game vs. Detroit. On Thursday there were reports he’d been cleared by an independent neurologist to play tonight vs. Baltimore, but the team issued a statement later in the day that Griffin III needed to be reevaluated in 1-2 weeks and would be held out of the preseason game, casting a doubt on his status going forward.

Griffin tweeted this later on Friday night.

Meanwhile NFL Network’s Albert Breer says a decision hasn’t been made for the regular season:

Stay tuned.
