J.J. Watt Got His Helmet Ripped Off, Still Got a Sack, then Gave a Salute

Here’s your quintessential J.J. Watt play. His helmet gets ripped off by offensive lineman trying to block him. That matters not, as a helmetless Watt continues on and takes down Alex Smith. Then he closes with a scowl, a head shake, and a salute.

Unfortunately for Houston, it’s also a typical Watt game where that play helped stop a red zone drive, but secondary breakdowns, poor QB play, and turnovers has Houston trailing by 21 points at home in the first half against Kansas City.
