Steve Smith Is NOT Threatening Mike Mitchell, But He is Putting Him on His "Lifetime Hit List"

Steve Smith Sr. is not threatening Mike Mitchell. We need to make that abundantly clear for legal reasons and to protect everyone – this website included – from possible NFL fines and suspensions. OK? Steve Smith Sr. is NOT threatening Mike Mitchell. Especially since Mitchell isn’t the one who actually hit Smith when he was injured last night. Having said that, here’s Smith’s quote about Mitchell from after Thursday night’s game. Via NFL.com:

"“The best thing I can do without threatening him and saying that I will assault him when I see him,” Smith said after the game, “is I will say I look forward to playing him again. He’s on my lifetime hit list.”"

The Steelers and Ravens play each other again on December 27th. Until then, Mitchell should probably steer clear of Steve Smith. Purely as a precautionary measure! Nobody said that Steve Smith was actually going to assault him! And that lifetime hit list thing is probably just a joke! It’s not like Smith tried to fight a former teammate after a playoff game earlier this year.
