Gilbert Arenas was in the middle of a $111 million contract in 2009 when he and teammate Javaris Crittenton got into a disagreement on the team plane about a card game. At issue: $1,100. By now, the story is legendary – two days after the incident, both players brought guns to the locker room.

Former Wizards forward Caron Butler is writing a book, and naturally the excerpt from the incident is juicy enough to bring the story to the media forefront six years later.

"“Hey, MF, come pick one,” Gilbert told Javaris while pointing to the weapons. “I’m going to shoot your [expletive] with one of these.” “Oh no, you don’t need to shoot me with one of those,” said Javaris, turning around slowly like a gunslinger in the Old West. “I’ve got one right here.” He pulled out his own gun, already loaded, cocked it, and pointed it at Gilbert."

It’s a pretty crazy read when you consider these are two millionaires we’re talking about. Two years later Crittenton was wanted for murder; he’s currently in prison for manslaughter. Arenas is floating around the country, still enjoying all the money he has left from his 2008 contract that netted him $111 million.
