A New York Mets fan is in critical condition following a fight after Game 1 of the NLDS on Friday night. The Mets beat the Dodgers, 3-1, in Los Angeles. In the parking lot after the game, a fight broke out and a fan was punched in the face. He then hit his head on the ground. Via ABC7:

"“I walked closer and there was a gentleman on the floor and was bleeding profusely from the head. We got free rally towels that night, so they were holding the rally towels to his head,” she said. Witnesses said the suspect was a tall man with blond hair."

In 2011, San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow suffered permanent brain damage resulting from an attack outside Dodgers Stadium. His attackers were sentenced earlier this year.
