In today’s NBA, the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets are perpetually fighting over various seeds in the NBA’s Eastern Conference. Neither team is in any danger of making the NBA Finals anytime soon, but they both want the chance to hurt a contender’s star player. That’s why they’re rivals and want to stay sharp when it comes to committing random flagrant fouls. That’s the only explanation for Jarrett Jack barreling into Jonas Jerebko during the 2nd quarter of a preseason game. Jack was ejected. Jerebko was probably just confused.
