Jose Bautista’s three-run home run and subsequent bat flip in the American League Division Series will be remembered fondly for years to come by Toronto Blue Jays fans. Especially this one, who got the moment tattooed on his skin within 24 hours of the blast’s landing.
It’s unclear if getting ink of an early playoff round’s pivotal moment is allowed by the unwritten rules.
Far be it for me to tell anyone else what to do with his or her body but it will be a pretty big bummer for Jose Bautista tattoo fan should the Jays get bounced by the Royals. That artistic tribute could turn into a monument to what could have been very quickly.
