Doug Martin Would Like to Be Called "Dougernaut," Not "Muscle Hamster"

Doug Martin hates the nickname “Muscle Hamster” that was bestowed on him at Boise State. He’s been trying since his rookie year in 2012 to get it to go away, when he said:
“It has to be the worst nickname ever. I can’t shake it. It started in college, started back in Boise, with our linemen. I have a lot of bigger friends, and they’d call me the Muscle Hamster because of how much I could lift in the weight room.”
He desperately wants a new one, and has now taken matters into his own hands. He’s settled on “Dougernaut.”
Doug Martin, who doesn't like the "Muscle Hamster" label, said he's going with "Dougernaut" as his nickname from now on.

Here’s to guessing the Dougernaut will not catch on. Even worse, it might, and then he’ll be wanting to change it in a year.
