Alex Morgan Traded to Orlando to Live Closer to Her Husband

Alex Morgan is a part of a trade that is being “finalized,” that would send her from Portland to Orlando, according to Grant Wahl. The SI reporter added another wrinkle:

Per Wahl, Portland would receive a pretty sizable haul in return, including the first overall pick in the NWSL draft, Meghan Klingenberg, and possibly Lindsay Horan, if she decides to join the league. For Orlando, an expansion franchise, Morgan is arguably the country’s biggest women’s soccer draw, and, when healthy, a formidable scorer.
