Monta Ellis' Crossover Had a Negative Impact on Amir Johnson's Ankles
By Kyle Koster
Amir Johnson found himself responsible for guarding Monta Ellis’ dribble 20 feet from the basket. It was a predictable recipe for disaster. The Indianapolis Pacers guard made the Boston Celtics forward stumble around like a newborn calf thanks to a crossover dribble.
It was a downright mean thing to do to a person on the first possession of a game. Johnson had to sit through 47.5 more minutes of action before finding a safe, media-free zone to decompress.
