Paige Invoked Charlotte Flair's Dead Brother in Dastardly Heel Promo [Video]

Charlotte Flair and Paige are fighting for the Diva’s championship belt this Sunday at Survivor Series. Tonight, they did a “contract signing,” which in WWE, without exception, end in fisticuffs. In tonight’s, earlier in the promo, Charlotte talked about how she is only in WWE to fulfill the dream of her younger brother, Reid, who tragically died of a heroin overdose at the age of 25 in 2013. Towards the end of the segment, Paige said, “He didn’t have much fight in him, did he?”

This was 99.999% staged — as evidenced by Byron Saxton jumping in immediately with commentary instead of being jaw-droppingly horrified as viewers were — but it was still insane that Paige went there.
