Calvin Pryor laid the wood on Richard Matthews on this ball thrown behind the Dolphins’ receiver, as he came across the middle. After the game, Ryan Tannehill called it a “good, clean hit” but added that celebrating while a player was down was “classless.” Matthews left the game with a rib/chest injury after the hit.

Those comments got back to Calvin Pryor, who took to Twitter to drop this back on Tannehill.

The Jets beat the Dolphins 38-20, and were leading 21-0 until late in the third quarter. Tannehill finished with 351 yards passing on 58 pass attempts (6.05 YPA). I listed Tannehill on my long list of potential QB moves this offseason based on turnover on the Dolphins’ staff and his future contract situation.
