Kentucky Fan Arrested for Punching Grandparents in Argument Related to Salad, Loss to Louisville

This week, a graphic was circulated showing popular Thanksgiving foods in different regions of the country. Salad was prominently featured in the western part of the United States. While it is unclear whether that specific graphic played a role, one Kentucky fan during Thanksgiving weekend became heated over salad and the loss to Louisville in the big rivalry game.
Louisville police responded to a call that “became violent after a brief discussion regarding salad,” according to FOX 19. A 21-year-old man punched his grandfather and then “proceeded to repeatedly punch his grandmother, even after she fell to the floor,” according to the police report.
