Nick Emery of BYU Hit Utah's Brandon Taylor With a Vicious-Looking Forearm [VIDEO]

BYU freshman guard Nick Emery wound up and socked Utah senior guard Brandon Taylor with 1:44 remaining in a 83-75 Utah victory, and then stared him down. It’s difficult to conclude one way or another whether Taylor overdramatized the contact, but it’s pretty apparent that it was a deliberate motion from Emery, who was hit with a flagrant 2 and ejected for the play. The Utah crowd was justifiably enraged.

It will be worth monitoring if there is further discipline here for Emery, who served his mission for the Church of Latter-day Saints in Germany.
