Nick Young Hit Anthony Tolliver With a Forearm to the Throat

Nick Young was ejected from last night’s Lakers game against the Pistons when he came up swinging after a hard foul from Anthony Tolliver. “I didn’t punch him or nothing,” Young said, via ESPN. “I pushed him. It shouldn’t be that bad.”

Young acknowledged that he’s frustrated by all his team’s losing — they’re 3-17 — but nevertheless continued to say he was over-disciplined for the shot to Tolliver’s neck: “It’s still not his face, though.”

Lakers coach Byron Scott thought Young “probably overreacted a little bit.”
