Gerald Green's Little Brother Tip-Dunks Missed Free Throw In the Wrong Basket in 2-Point Game

Garlon Green, the younger brother of Miami Heat guard Gerald Green, is playing for the Tigers Tübingen – or “Walter Tigers” – in Germany’s Basketball Bundesliga. During a game Sunday agaisnt Basketball Löwen Braunschweig, the Tigers trailed by 2 with .4 seconds remaining in the game.

Löwen Braunschweig guard Lucas Gertz stepped to the line and missed two free throws. On the second miss, Green ran in and successfully completed a tip-dunk on a missed free throw. Unfortunately, it was on the wrong basket and his team lost 83-79. Perhaps Green thought there was no way his team could get a shot off. Or maybe he just thought a tip-dunk would be so awesome the referees would give the points to his team. Either way, his teammates’ reactions are priceless.
