Robert Nkemdiche Charged with Marijuana Possession After Fall

Ole Miss standout defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche has been charged with marijuana possession after Atlanta police found “approximately 7 rolled marijuana cigarettes” in his hotel room, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Nkemdiche, a top-five NFL prospect, suffered injuries after falling 15 feet from his fourth-floor room on Saturday nigh after breaking a window and climbing out onto a ledge. He was transported to the hospital in “stable” condition.

The junior’s status for the Rebels’ Sugar Bowl matchup with Oklahaoma State on Jan. 1 is uncertain. [via AJC]
