Salty Sky Sports Pundit Mocks Liverpool for Saluting Fans After Disappointing Draw

Liverpool finds itself around the middle of the table as the Premier League nears the halfway mark. Jurgen Klopp’s side managed to secure a draw with West Bromwich Albion on Sunday thanks to Divock Origi’s late goal. After the match, Reds players joined hands to salute the Anfield crowd — a move that rankled Sky Sports commentator Mike Wedderburn.
"Now, have Liverpool just won the Champions League? The Premier League? No, they’ve drawn with West Bromwich Albion. Is there any truth in the rumour that an open-topped bus is being revved up for a result against Watford next week?"

A team like Liverpool should have high aspirations. Having said that, though, critiquing soccer celebrations are a slippery slope for Wedderburn to stand upon. Those guys love to gesticulate with the slightest provocation.
Also: have to take some issue with trivializing a win over Elton John’s preferred squad. Definitely a cause for celebration any time that happens.
