This is not a chipper, upbeat holiday story. From News Channel 3 in Tennessee:

"A man was indicted on first-degree murder charges for the death of a basketball opponent following an argument on the court. Witnesses said the two got into an argument over a foul, and Jones walked out of the gym but returned and shot Pollard multiple times. Jones and Pollard did not know each other, according to the DA’s office."

This incident happened in July, and Jones was indicted this week. The man who was shot, Vicdarrius Pollard, was an 18-year old who had just graduated from high school. He was on the high school’s championship bowling team and was slated to head to college in a few weeks.
