Oregon took a 31-0 lead over TCU. The Alamo Bowl looked like yet another bowl blowout. It turned out to be memorable.

Vernon Adams and Oregon’s starting center went down, leaving the Ducks with just an underwhelming defense. Gary Patterson changed his shirt. TCU, also without starter Trevone Boykin, found its offensive rhythm and came back to tie it 31-31. The Horned Frogs won 47-41 in overtime.

This ties the 2006 Insight Bowl (where Texas Tech overcame a 38-7 deficit to win) for the biggest comeback in bowl game history.
