The Pacers beat the Detroit Pistons in Indiana on Saturday night, 94-82. As the final seconds ticked off the clock, Paul George poked the ball away from Marcus Morris. The two then stood chest to chest, having what must have been a very nice conversation, until Morris shoved George. The teams converged and discussed the incident before adults were able to seperate the teams and send them to their locker rooms.

Since this took place at the end of the game, no one will be suspended for leaving the bench. And images of the Pistons and Pacers in a scrum will bring back memories of the Malice at the Palace. The real shame is that this will completely take away from Paul George’s dominant 32-point, 14-rebound game that included 21 in the 4th. You would think that his play had sent enough of a message.
