Derrick Henry Was Barely Touched on a 50-Yard Touchdown Run

Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry, who ran for a mere 75 yards in the Cotton Bowl, is off to a fast start in the national title game. He broke a 50-yard touchdown run to get the scoring started.

Henry has already amassed 71 yards on the ground. He’s also prevented Clemson from getting out to an early lead, something most predicted they’d need in order to maintain confidence in an upset.
