Jordan Spieth’s ball was headed for the water on the par-4 ninth hole at the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, until it met a spectators backside. To his credit the man, and his buddies, laughed it off and it also very likely saved Spieth a stroke so hopefully he isn’t the butt of too many jokes.

" Wow. Man’s backside keeps @JordanSpieth‘s ball in play. https://t.co/foL12Ivrjc — The European Tour (@EuropeanTour) January 22, 2016 "

Spieth is currently three-under and is behind both Rickie Fowler and Rory McIlroy who are five-under. The current leader is Andy Sullivan at -10. The second round was suspended due to fog that caused a three hour start delay.
