Imagine How Differently Roger Goodell Would've Handled this Adam Silver Interaction With TMZ

Adam Silver was approached by a TMZ pap and asked about Blake Griffin. Silver, who will engage anyone, gave off the appearance of candor in his answers, though remained a little bit coy about where the NBA’s investigation of the incident is going. Nevertheless, he appeared cordial and genuine.

On the flipside, it’s a near certainty that if Roger Goodell were approached about a player getting hurt fighting a team employee he would have gone into Rog-Bot mode, and stammered while clumsily trying to think of a way to get rid of the guy as his goons stepped in. I’m normally not in favor of TMZ’s tactics, but would be interested in watching that transpire.
