Hassan Whiteside Grabbed a Shot Out of the Air

Miami Heat big man Hassan Whiteside earned a triple-double off the bench last night thanks to organizing a one-man block party. Whiteside rejected 10 Hornets shots, including one where he palmed the ball out of mid-air (at the 55-second mark).
Perhaps this will be the moment shot blockers finally realize they’re allowed to block and control the ball instead of sending it into the fourth row. Tell me what Whiteside did looks less awesome than an emphatic swat. You can’t.
