The Denver Broncos won the Super Bowl. The defense dominated, ensuring redemption Wade Phillips who was out of the NFL in 2014. What did Phillips do the morning after, basking in the glow of his triumph? Hop on Twitter to zing Cam Newton, obviously.

Phillips’ execution was lacking. Even discounting the typos, his comment didn’t quite make much sense. But, at 68, he can operate a smart phone and understands the zeitgeist. So, he’s ahead of the game.
