Jared Sullinger Joined the Clippers' Huddle as a Spy

Boston’s Jared Sullinger walked into the Clippers’ huddle as Doc Rivers diagrammed a play late in the second quarter. It seems like this type of move would be frowned upon but the presence of a spy didn’t seem to bother the Clips too much. Sullinger was halfheartedly boxed out of the group by Cole Aldrich but not before getting all the information he needed.

Boston prevailed, 139-134, in overtime so there’s clear evidence cheating pays.

Something tells me this situation would have played out differently in the 1980s NBA.
