Jim Jackson joined The Herd on FS1, where Jason Whitlock was filling in as host, on Thursday. After some discussion about Derek Fisher, Whitlock asked about the code in NBA locker rooms. “You’re going to have instances where that’s not the case,” said Jackson. “Remember the Tony Parker issue with Brent Barry.”

“You’re going to have those instances [but] most guys adhere to those rules where wives are off-limits,” Jackson continued. “Now, whether that’s your sidechick, like you talked about before, a female on the side, that you’re really not involved with but you may hang out with, then it’s still kind of open season. But as a player, you kind of want to have that respect for your teammate that that’s off-limits if you already went there.”

The conversation continued between Jackson, Whitlock, and Kristine Leahy from there.
