Ex-Tennessee offensive lineman Mackenzie “Mack” Crowder was arrested after authorities say he engaged in a sexually explicit online conversation with a girl he believed to be 14-years-old.

"The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office insists Crowder admitted to communicating with a minor, soliciting sex several times, and sending four pictures of his private parts. The minor, however, was actually an undercover deputy. Deputies say the conversations began January 21st, then on Tuesday made arrangements to meet the “minor” in Pinellas County, which is when deputies arrested him."

Crowder, who played five years with the Volunteers and appeared in 11 games in each of the last two seasons, is charged with four counts of transmission of harmful material and one count of using a computer for a prohibited purpose, all of which are felonies.

The two-time SEC Academic Honor Roll member was released from jail on $50,000 bond Wednesday morning.
